This large-scale study evaluated the impact of an 8-week Sophrology programme for young people with Congenital Heart Disease. Whilst aerobic physical fitness was not improved, significant enhancement in Health-Related Quality of Life was observed in young adults. The authors recommend further evaluation of the integration of mind–body practices such as Sophrology into preventive cardiology programmes.
