In this one-day course, Nathalie Bergeron-Duval will share how to help others to better manage emotions using Sophrology.

The workshop will cover:

  • Definition of emotions and the role of each of the 4 basic emotions
  • Links between sensations, needs and emotions
  • Breathing and emotions: the impact of breathing under stress on the nervous system, biochemistry of stress, blood balance, training with a specific breathing technique to reach normocapnia (normal level of carbon dioxide in the bloodstream)
  • Case studies and discussions reflecting on the choice of Sophrology exercises linked to managing emotions: what to do with a “negative emotion” during a Sophrology session, how to use emotions as a leading target, how to discover emotions as allies in life

This course counts towards the Education and Family Specialist Diploma, the Health and Mental Wellbeing Specialist Diploma, and the Leadership and Business.

Nathalie Bergeron-Duval is a Sophrologist (FEPS), consultant and laughter yoga practitioner.  She works as a creativity facilitator and behavioural trainer for corporations. She co-authored «La Petite Encyclopédie de la Détente Minute» (Tredaniel) and also teaches specialist modules at the CEAS school of Sophrology in Paris.
